Congrats to Cadence Dean, Desirae Hatfield, Haley Fox, Chloe Armbrister, Cory Meadows, Madison Fox, Ethan Patterson, Katie Umbarger, & Caden Farthing for participating in All-District Band in Abingdon, Virginia.

The Mighty Maroon Marching Band finished out their competition season at North Davidson High School on Saturday, November 6th, 2021.

Congratulations to all 21 of the bands that performed at the 42nd Annual George Wythe Band Festival on Saturday, October 9th. Abingdon High School and Sullivan East High School were crowned the two overall Bands of the Day!

Congratulations to the GW Winter Guard and Indoor Drumline on their performances at the CIPA Championships this past Saturday. The color guard finished 6th in a highly competitive class. Indoor Drumline finished off their season undefeated and were named Percussion Circuit Champions.  

The Indoor Qualifier at Virginia High has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The next competition will be at Sullivan Central Middle School on February 19th, 2022. 

Congratulations to the Mighty Maroon Marching Band on their 1st Place finish at the Lord Botetourt Cavalier Classic.
